logos:i liked doing this assignement i thought it gave me the opportunity to really play around more with photoshop... i started with the corporate logo.. It took me ages to decide on something original... i wanted something simple and something that would stand out... i started out by playing around with different fonts and finally found one that i liked.. i changed the sizing of it so the letter B took up the whole page... I then chose the colour black as it is bold and stood out... i then made a new layer and made the letter w using the same font but smaller... i then placed it in the bottom left hand corner of the B. I changed the colour to white as i felt that the two contrasted really well together... To estalblish what the logos purpose was i wrote in a small font brooklyn whitney art management in a new layer and rotated it vertically. then i placed it on the stem of the B... i used red for this sentence so it would stand out... also i felt that red has passionate connotations which i feel art should essentially be about... i think that the end result was quite good for a first attept. i completed it in just under half an hour after playing around with different ideas. i felt that for a corporate design it would be best to keep it simple but striking and i think that it worked..

the rockstar logo was really fun i decided to go old school 70's disco style.. i found a picture on the internet and manipulated the colours i tried a range of different colours and manipulations including neon sketch and fading...i really liked the neon it looked really retro but it was to cold so i changed it to red black and white tones... i then added brookstar to the bottom left hand corner in a funky font. i think that the end result came out quite well...

ps i got a hit on my line up photo!!!! whoo hooo!!!

Homework 1: Photoshop manipulation.
My picture is of me in a police line up as the suspect person… The website tonystone.com was found while browsing Google, it featured a line up picture which was perfect so was saved…
I took a photo of myself using a digital camera and then copied it to my laptop. The image was cropped and the size was altered because it was too large for the line up picture.
My picture was then duplicated and copied to the line up photo. The picture then needed to be edited because it still had the original background so using the eraser on size 9 the background was erased.
When I had erased the background the picture was complete.

Howdy all just set up my blog oooooh sooo exciting.... before this course i had no idea what a blog was or even knew they existed. this is all very interesting and lm finding more so now that i know what a blog is that when i research things in google l am constantly getting sent to bloggers pages which i never noticed beforehand.

bloggers are people who want to share information with the world. it can be fact of fiction stories or journals. journalists can use blogs to give there own oppinion about things without being pulled up by editors or other people.
